What I love about drawing on the iPad: being able to sit on the couch and just doodle random people off the top of my head with a cup of tea and a movie on in the background. I don’t work this way very often anymore because I try to separate work from downtime, but sometimes I allow them to mix, and this is the result!

Bruno Santos of darkcornerbooks, illustrates some lesser known creatures of the dark. Like the Japanese legend of the ghost whale, Bake-kujira or the Manananggal of the Philippines, which is a vampire like creature that can sever its torso and take flight to capture its next victim.
They are all really interesting and creepy.
